LAAS runs a basic advocacy training course which is open to anyone who is considering volunteering or who has an interest in advocacy.

The course consists of one three hour session per week over five or six weeks.  People who complete the course will be considered for voluntary work with the Service.   In addition volunteers need to satisfactorily pass a Disclosure Scotland application.

Anyone who is interested in volunteering for the Advocacy Service and would like to take part in  the training course should contact the Dumbarton office on (01389) 726543.
